Great news for Watchmen fans.

Word is that Birmingham's blockbuster IMAX cinema is lining up a special showing of the anti-hero movie in September.

What's more, Watchmen artist Dave Gibbons will be on hand to do a Q&A session with the fans.

It's the news Midland Watchmen buffs have been waiting for.

When the movie first came out, the city's IMAX screen at Thinktank missed out - but has gone on to show Dark Knight, Star Trek, Night At The Museum 2 and, coming soon, Transformers 2.

Watch this space for details of the Watchmen date!
