Superman Brandon Routh and Bond girl Denise Richards star in Bollywood movie

Superman Brandon Routh has had his wings clipped.

Instead of heading up the latest franchise based on the adventures of the man of steel, Brandon finds himself cameoing in what is being billed as 'the first ever Bollywood production to feature major Hollywood talent".

That talent being Sylvester Stallone and Denise Richards - who was voted one of the worst Bond girls, and whose character Christmas Jones prompted the clunking one-liner: "I thought Christmas only comes once a year."

Reports that Arnold Schwarzenegger and Carmen Electra were also set to appear remain 'unconfirmed' on the project's IMDB website.

The film Kammbakkht Ishq or Incredible Love, due to be released in the UK and India on July 3, is about an Indian stuntman (Akshay Kumar) who takes the American movie industry by storm but cannot find true love.

Routh shot to fame fist-first when he was plucked from television bit-part obscurity to play the bullet-proof champion of truth, justice and the American way.

However, although Superman Returns made a respectable $391 million, it lacked the brio of director Bryan Singer's earlier money magnets X-Men and X2, and a sequel doesn't seem to be in either the star's, or the director's, immediate future.

But comic book adaptations may yet give 29-year-old Routh's career a shot in the arm.

He is starring as Dylan Dog, a supernatural private eye, in Dead of Night, taken from the Italian comic horror stories.

He has also been cast as Todd Ingram in the Edgar Wright helmed Scott Pilgrim Vs The World, from the hit indie graphic novels.

Routh deserves all recognition that comes his way.
And he will yet again play the Man of Steel.

I agree with what Superman said above. I thought SR was a fantastic movie and I loved Brandon Routh in the part of Superman.

I look forward to seeing this movie, as soon as it comes to the US. I also
look forwad to seeing Dylan Dog and the Scott Pilgrim movie. They both are looking like they will be very good.

I really wish WB would commit to a new Superman movie WITH Brandon Routh as the lead.

I WANNA SEE BRANDON BACK AS SUPERMAN SOON, PLEASE!! :( Thought he was excellent in the role, and the movie was really good as well for a reintroduction of the character.

Today, Hindi movies come in general phrasing with society based Hindi film industry. It shakes out around one thousand movies a year.

Never would have figured these two as Bollywood movies actors. t would be interesting to see such a movie though. And one more thing for all of you fans out there. I'm a movie replica swords collector and I haven't seen one Bollywood movie where the main character fights using a sword. Is there such a thing? I'd be grateful if you could direct me to such a movie.
