Hoorah! Fringe, which is fast becoming a must-see, has been renewed for a second season.

Fox has confirmed Olivia, Walter and, err, Pacey will be back for more weird science.

This is no surprise as co-creator JJ Abrams has shown he is the man with the golden touch after Lost, Alias and now the new Star Trek film.

Fringe has been doing very well ratings wise in the US and, in the crazy-yet-hilarious Walter, has one of the best small-screen characters on television today.

Here are some of the top Walterisms so far:

"Excellent! Let's make some LSD!"

Walter: "The spread of the digits, V-shaped. It's too wide for one of those creatures. Configuration closer to that of an eagle. Of course much, much larger."
Peter: "Hey, we're looking for Big Bird"
Walter: "Don't be ridiculous. Perhaps a pterodactyl."

"Where's the fire? I always loved that expression, which is curious, since my lab assistant was killed in a fire."

"The only thing better than a cow, is a human. Unless you want milk. Then you need a cow."

"I have remembered something important! Where I parked my car 18 years ago..."

Peter: "Are you okay?"
Walter: "Yes. Although when I mentioned that the poison would kill me within the hour, did either of you happen to notice the time?"
