Prison Break : bad news and good news

Not looking good, is it?

Michael and Linc are in the hands of The Company.

Alex is in the tender arms of the FBI.

T-Bag is being strangled by the Bible-bashing Company goon.

Gretchen and Self seem to have the upper hand.

That leaves only Sara and Sucre to save the day.

And we all know Sara loses her head in a crisis.

There's better news, however, for the series in general.

Critics have savaged season four, arguing that's just too predictable, and viewing figures have fallen as the A-Team-type Scylla storyline plays out.

There had been fears that the show might be cancelled after its mid-season break.

But word from the studio is that Prison Break WILL be back in the spring.

It's thought there'll be six more episodes, taking the season to 22 in total.

And if there's not going to be a fifth helping, a two-hour long special will wrap up all the loose ends.

Surprised to see this site make no mention of the remake of The Prisoner, arguably Britain's ultimate cult tv show, or the death of its creator, Patrick McGoohan.
