Never seen without his scowl or look of dumb surprise, he melts into the crowd.

He hates Alex Mahone for setting him up, and has promised to kill him when it's all over.

The brawn of the team but also the master mechanic, able to make a tank out of tat.

B.A. stood for Bad Attitude - he certainly had a temper and often beat up higher ranking officers in the army.

Never seen without his Mohican and jewellery, he stood out in the crowd.

And, of course, he claimed to hate "crazy fool" Mad Murdock, although he loved him really.

FERNANDO SUCRE

Sucre has a boyish charm and has a knack of conning people out of stuff the guys need.

Whenever he's not on the run, he's trying to get back to his beautiful wife and child.

Trouble is, Sucre only has to smile to get into bother with the authorities, who think he's insolent.

Likely to run at the first sign of trouble, but always has second thoughts and returns.

TEMPLETON PECK

Face was The A-Team's charming conman and he master of his trade. He could get anything anywhere anytime.

Whenever he wasn't helping the unfortunate or running from the military you'd find him with a beautiful woman.

The Faceman only had to smile to get laid.

But he was always the first to run at the sign of trouble - to avoid having his looks re-arranged.

ALEX MAHONE

The former FBI Special Agent can kill anyone, no matter what side of the law they're on, filling them with bullet holes.

As mad as a hatters' convention, he's borderline psychotic and as dangerous as old cellmate T-Bag.

Liked to chat with his ex-wife and talk about getting together again until a contract killer put paid to all that.

Ruthlessly hunted down the Fox River escapers until he ended up in South American Sona prison with them.

MAD MURDOCK

The A-Team's pilot could fly anything, no matter how many engines it had - or how many holes there were in it!

Trouble was, he was howlin' mad, or at least that's the impression he liked to give if it helped him avoid the law.

At heart he was as much a charmer as the Faceman but without the looks.

But his often childlike manner hid a brave heart, and he often saved the day in a tight spot.

SARA TANCREDI

Doctor from Fox River Prison tricked into helping Schofield & Co make their escape.

She is useful to the team because she has friends in high places, and access to a lot of help.

Lost her head a bit last season (she was decapitated, in fact) but has made a miraculous recovery.

In love with Michael Schofield but prone to go missing. Gives the show its sex appeal.

AMY ALLEN

Reporter on the Los Angeles Courier who became the A-Team's undercover researcher.

She was useful to the team because she had access to a lot of material.

Often watched by the military police as she visited Murdock in hospital, she remained their best-kept secret.

Nicknamed "Triple A" because of her name - Amy Amanda Allen - she gave the show sex appeal.
